Paneer tikka on tawa recipe
- 250 gm paneer, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 teaspoons garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Chopped coriander for garnish
Instructions:
1. Marinate the paneer cubes in the yogurt mixture for at least 30 minutes.
2. Heat a non-stick tawa or griddle over medium heat.
3. Add 1-2 tablespoons of oil to the tawa.
4. Remove the paneer cubes from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off.
5. Place the paneer cubes on the tawa and cook for 3-4 minutes per side.
6. Use a spatula to gently press the paneer cubes and get a crispy exterior.
7. Cook until golden brown and slightly charred.
8. Serve hot with your favorite chutney or raita.
